1. Rental Agreement
By renting a vehicle from RideX, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
The rental agreement is formed when we confirm your booking and you take possession of the vehicle.
2. Driver Requirements
- The renter must be at least 21 years of age
- A valid driving license held for a minimum of 1 year is required
- A valid form of identification (Passport, National ID, etc.) is required
- Additional drivers must be registered and meet the same requirements
3. Vehicle Use
The vehicle must only be used for lawful purposes and in accordance with all applicable traffic laws.
The following uses are strictly prohibited:
- Using the vehicle for any illegal activity
- Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs
- Using the vehicle for commercial purposes without prior approval
- Sub-letting or lending the vehicle to unauthorized persons
- Driving outside the permitted geographical area
- Overloading the vehicle beyond its specified capacity
4. Fuel Policy
Vehicles are provided with a full tank of fuel and must be returned with a full tank.
If the vehicle is returned with less fuel, a refueling charge will be applied based on current fuel prices
plus a service fee.
5. Insurance & Liability
Basic insurance coverage is included in the rental price. However, the renter is responsible for:
- Any damage to the vehicle due to negligence or violation of terms
- Damage caused by driving on unpaved roads or off-road
- Loss of personal belongings left in the vehicle
- Traffic fines and toll charges incurred during the rental period
- The excess/deductible amount in case of an accident
6. Booking & Payment
- A security deposit is required at the time of pickup
- Payment can be made via cash, credit card, or bank transfer
- Rental charges are calculated on a 24-hour basis
- Late returns will be charged on an hourly or daily basis
- Early returns are non-refundable unless agreed otherwise
7. Cancellation Policy
- Free cancellation up to 48 hours before pickup
- 50% charge for cancellation within 24-48 hours of pickup
- Full charge for cancellation within 24 hours or no-show
- Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days
8. Accidents & Breakdowns
In case of an accident or breakdown:
- Notify us immediately at the contact number provided
- Do not admit liability or make any statements to third parties
- Obtain details of other parties involved and any witnesses
- File a police report if required
- Do not attempt repairs without authorization
9. Return of Vehicle
The vehicle must be returned to the agreed location at the specified date and time.
It should be in the same condition as when rented, allowing for normal wear and tear.
Late returns may incur additional charges as per our late return policy.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time.
Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.
Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
